-How to Pyrolysis-
The video below shows a series of experiments I carried out with the chemical reaction known as pyrolysis. Pyrolysis can be used to break down carbon based materials (wood, grass clippings, manure etc...) into simple compounds. Pyro is Greek for "Fire" while Lysis is Greek for "Separating". To perform pyrolysis the material must be burnt in a zero oxygen enviroment to halt combustion. As the material breaks done it gasifies allowing you to collect these gases. Once collected the gases can be condensed into liquid fuels of different fractions in a process known as 'fractional distillation'. Fractional distillation is the process that fuel for your car is created.

I am glad to have admitted very early on in the development of this website that it was a work in progress! At least I can say that I'm honest! This website is more than just a work in progress, at times the entire project comes to a screaming halt! But here I am, writing once more! Only the other day I had some constructive criticism in regard to the websites layout. "Layout," I said. "what layout?". My website was barley strung together and yet at least there was a website. The entire thing could very easily still just been a figment of my imagination. But no. Here it is. On the web for all to see and criticise. To be honest, the criticism got me to work on the page. The truth was I am still working out how I want the page to be displayed. I believe I am slowly getting there. Eventually I want the entire page to focus around The Journal's at the top of the home page. Each element should lead to blogs that are in direct relation to these elements. I am severely lacking in content but than again there is only so much one Mick can do.
As early as this very morning I did manage to update my weekly Top Ten YouTube videos. So that's a bonus! Be sure to check them out, like and subscribe! I could certainly use the viewers! I have also managed to create a new extraction video in regards to the extraction of Drinking water and salt from Ocean Water. You can watch that video by searching for it under the Sodium Journal here as well. If you are interested in all my other YouTube content you can click here to go straight to the YouTube channel itself! Cheers! In the meantime I hope you all enjoy the small amount of house cleaning I have managed to get done! Micheal Farmer
